LAYOUTThrough the entrance hall you will first pass a "welcoming room", this cloakroom contains bookcase filled information and books about what to do in Ypres and the history of our great city and its surroundings. The cosy lounge / living room has a full TV / video set-up great for those dreary winter nights, a fully kitted-out kitchen with a gas hob, oven / microwave, refrigerator/freezer and a handy dishwasher. Though the French doors the kitchen looks out onto the cosy little courtyard. The bathroom has a roomy shower, sink and toilet and has the essential toiletries.
There is very good Wi-Fi throughout the entire house. The house has three double bedrooms in total. On the first floor there are 2 double bedrooms and on the second floor a very spacious double bedroom with high vaulted ceilings. The top floor also has a side room filled to the brim with old folk games. We provide a cot and high chair on request. You'll never be cold with the very efficient central heating installed throughout the house. The house is beautifully restored and all the period features were kept as intact as possible. The house is furnished with period pieces and decorated with pieces of local history which give the house a cosy feeling and give you a glimpse into the past. We wanted to make this holiday home a place where we ourselves would love to live and we hope you will enjoy staying here as much as we enjoyed making it. Unfortunately, no pets are allowed inside our let. |
